The school seems to excel due to the large number of AP, honors courses and higher standardized scores. However, there is a lot of bullying. There is a also a drug problem. Situations seem to get handled on a "who's who in the community" basis. Lower Moreland is a microcosm of an unrealistic world.

Posted by a parent on 2/25/2023Having had two sons go through the LMHS system- one just graduated LMHS- Both are doing amazing in College!!! - One is actually now attending Harvard Law while the other is in another Ivy league college, Columbia U. (And no he didn't graduate top of the class either) LMHS academics are unsurpassed!!

Posted by a community member on 9/4/2014The high school is in denial about the drug problem that is going on in their school. The bullying is an issue with the parents and the students. The drama club has had their favorites since middle school. The school could improve with peer education and programs with bullying.

School is small, multicultural, and offers a lovely home-like atmosphere including breakfast, snack and homemade lunch. After-school program is included so parents can work. Students’ knowledge is higher than their peers from public schools. Teachers, principal and administration are caring and supportive. Close relationship between teachers and parents; school makes you feel welcome and accepted.
