I un-enrolled my first grade daughter from the school Monday May 18th. There had been consistent physical bullying with the same student since December. With many failed attempts to get the teachers to properly support my child and hear her cries for help. The teacher began to single my child out. G

Posted by a community member on 5/19/2026Staffing and principal are horrible, durning parents conferences, you can smell teacher were finished smoking weeds or vapes. The principal has no glues about her students and staff, the school is in the name only, no science or teaching whatsoever.

The schools structure is constructivism education which is basically gentle parenting at its finest. Long story short they let the kids run a muck and do whatever they want

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my kids attend Cherry Park. Two years ago I pulled them out of another district and brought them to Cherry Park. Best decision I made. They are in 3rd and 4th grade and through this pandemic it has been extremely difficult. Cherry Park is not only a great school but they really treat us like family. They have helped us in so many ways and continue to be incredibly understanding and helpful. Kate Barker is an amazing principle and we are sad to see her go but we are happy that Matt Soule, who seems to be just as amazing as Kate Barker will be taking her place. My kids have had amazing teachers that always go above and beyond.
