8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMaybe we got unlucky, but communication with my child’s 3rd and 4th grade teachers were non-existent for both of my children who were in different buildings. No weekly newsletters, no updated grades on PowerSchool or Canvas. I never received graded work, very disappointed with the lack of regular communication. Maybe it’s because the class sizes are so big and lack of special education support that teachers are overwhelmed. Intermediate does a much better job at communication.Parent Review11mo ago13 Reviews - Marshall Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Marshall Elementary School when I was a little girl. I finished all grades there. I was not able to attend the 6th grade because I had already signed up to a middle school, and that is where I am now. I am now going to start 8th grade this year of 2013. Marshall is a great school to let your children go to. They experience so many new things!! Honestly the teachers are fantastic. I absolutely loved this school!! I lived in South Glen Apartments, also another great place, so getting to school wasn't a trouble at all. I've heard that Marshall has changed a bit since I left, but it was the only elementary school I ever went to and I'm glad I went there.Other Review12y ago4 Reviews - McClure Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe really love this school. As an international family, we felt very welcomed here. The teachers are kind and supportive, and our daughter is happy and confident. She was in another school before with a higher rating, but we like McClure much more — they respect her personality and help her grow without pressure.Parent Review8mo ago6 Reviews - Victory Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe upper elementary school front office lady is the primary reason I’m looking at taking my tax dollars elsewhere. She is as insufferable as the policy she thinks is so important. I walked my kindergarten girl to class just fine without wasting time on a tag because clearly if you have a little girl with you and are dressed in work clothes you aren’t looking to meander around the halls.Parent Review3mo ago40 Reviews - Metro Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMetro is a great school for my kids. I have a high school student and an elementary student. Both have had a great experience. I love that the school is small enough that you can participate on varsity athletics and participate in the school musical. Student Activities are really the heart beat of the school and they are done really well at Metro. My elem student benefits from a small class size and a team of teachers who know her strengths and her weaknesses and build on that. I couldn’t be more pleased with Metro!Parent Review7y ago41 Reviews - Riverfield Country Day School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRiverfield Country Day is an inspiring environment focused on educating the whole student. The school cares deeply about the emotional, social and academic development of each of its students. Attending last year's graduation ceremony, I was in awe that the head of the upper school addressed each graduate individually and spoke from the heart of the contributions, successes and the trials each student had gone thru on their path to graduation. I cannot imagine another school in which the Head could so eloquently speak about each and every student. If you desire to place your student with caring faculty that are as invested in your child's success as you are, then Riverfield is your home. Students are engaged to learn and taught how to think, not what to think. The school honors the individuality of each student, not mocks differences. The faculty is given great flexibility and freedom to develop curriculum that meets learning goals and ideas not specifics; no teaching to a test here! Children are challenged to be self-motivated and directed, focused on real world preparation and experiences, starting in preschool, lasting until graduation.Parent Review12y ago5 Reviews - School Of St Mary

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFABULOUS PROGRAM! My son loves his teacher as well as the director, Amanda. He was behind coming from another school but they really put all their efforts into catch him up to grade level. He is now above grade level and we have seen massive improvement. The teachers communicate everything to the parents very well and we are never left in the dark. The field trips are fun and educational along with the fun projects such as Share Fair. Mizel is such a state of the art facility that has all of the right safety features including a Tulsa Police Officer in the front of the building during school hours. We can’t recommend this school enough!Parent Review1mo ago7 Reviews
