I'm a student at the 6th/7th Grade Center and I can say, Grove has a very nice environment. They keep everything neat,and they are very respectful. I got the chance to read to some lovely 1st grade girls and they were sooo nice and polite! I came from Brairglen and never went to Grove, and I was very shocked at the differences. But, I do have friends who went to Grove and all I've heard are good things.

Tiffany Morgan is absolutely terrible! She’s lost my son 3 times consecutively on the bus she’s ride unprofessional. She was smacking her but telling me to kiss it. I’m extremely embarrassed for TPS I have no idea how she has sat in that position with so many terrible reviews from not only parents but the teachers as well! I am currently in the process of suing for discrimination! She is a terrible person to have in that position watching over children! Who depend on her to support a healthy on loving environment! Disgusted!

locked my student in closets and empty offices for hours on end. Never cared for my student with severe Ptsd and instead contently yelled at her. Her last day there the principle threw my student's bag and other belongings into the trash. My student still suffers mental issues with trusting teachers and principals because of this school. If I could put negative stars I would. As a parent should never have to walk into a school and find half the staff yelling and threatening a 7 year old.I also had a niece go to this school until 5th grade. Her experience was horrible as they never did anything about bullying for her. She also mentioned being related to my student to the principal, instantly got even worse treatment.

Montessori is a wonderful form of education and it is effective in creating an environment that allows children to have internal validation in their works. The teachers will work alongside you to help your child. The teachers are very kind however there are some that could use a bit more training. The problem is the administration, they are ill equipped and under educated to keep up with the demands of running a school. There are promises made but no follow through. There is a lack of communication with parents about important matters but overcommunication with things not as urgent. There is a lack by the administration to truly engage families in community participation and heavily dependent on the families to find that community, two community events in an entire school year. In order to be a great leader it comes from the top and that is highly lacking. There is also not a standard of who is allowed to enroll so what ends up happening is you have students who have a higher level of care and those kids take away from other children. If you are interested in this school I would go in with hard questions and really research the quality.

Where do I even begin.....my sons experience at Dove has been absolutely atrocious. I cant even write a google review as they have turned off reviews if that tells you anything.My son attended Dove School of Discovery for Pre-K and Kindergarten. First I will say his experience with Pre-K was amazing, he LOVED his teacher and we loved her!This review is based on his Kindergarten experience, as Pre-K was wonderful.From day 1 of Kindergarten it has been hell, the teacher was completely incompetent and have no idea how to manage a classroom or set realistic expectations. My son who is 6 was punished with recess being taken away for not sitting still. The teacher had a pizza party at one point and actively kept other students who she deemed as "BAD" out of pizza party. that's right, she had a pizza party with kindergarteners and left students out of it., My Son told me he felt so bad because he got pizza and other students didn't. the teacher yelled at the students and got 2 inches from their face on a field trip and told them to stop being annoying. The teacher completely ignored when a student in her classroom was being bullied while she sat on the bench on her phone. I know all of this because I volunteered to attend a field trip as a chaperone and witnessed all of this. My son was punched in the face and no one told me until after the fact, my son came out of the school crying.My son was not allowed to use the bathroom even after asking several times and he ended up soiling his pants, the class laughed at him and the teacher did nothing.The teacher regularly mixed up my son with other students and sent home their work, their personal information regarding their growth and even sent messages regarding another students behaviors to my families group chat mistaking our family for another. The teacher in my sons class did not have one nice thing to say about my son the entire school year, though he excelled in many areas. She only contacted us to tell us when something was wrong. Even during parent teacher conferences not once did she say a kind thing about him. My son is traumatized from his experience at Dove and we wont even be having him finish out his last week of school. We cannot wait to get him out!

They just come in for the paycheck. My daughter has been called so many names and I never had a teacher address it until I go into the school. There are bullies in this school. The assistant principal things that he can intimidate children into behaving. Also car drop off and pick up lines are the worse. It says pick up is at 2:45 to 2:47 and the staff don't start moving the line till almost 3 pm and then they send you to the front if you run late (after 3:10 you're considerer late). Don't recommend Ellen or any other Union school.
