My child attended the special education classroom I had issues of their legs being pinned down by a para, and pinned in at the desk so they couldnt get up and wonder... my child's diaper was not changed like it should be so they have a constant rash. Sad faces are put on their papers... The staff in the office and the prinipal have always been nice as well.

locked my student in closets and empty offices for hours on end. Never cared for my student with severe Ptsd and instead contently yelled at her. Her last day there the principle threw my student's bag and other belongings into the trash. My student still suffers mental issues with trusting teachers and principals because of this school. If I could put negative stars I would. As a parent should never have to walk into a school and find half the staff yelling and threatening a 7 year old.I also had a niece go to this school until 5th grade. Her experience was horrible as they never did anything about bullying for her. She also mentioned being related to my student to the principal, instantly got even worse treatment.

This school is untrustworthy. They do NOT recognize IEP, special needs. They allow bullying, and take NO responsibility for any student. My student got hurt so bad, he needed stitches in his face! DO NOT SEND YOUR STUDENTS HERE!

As a parent, reading some of the recent reviews encouraged me to share my own experience. My child is beginning her third year at CMA, and overall, we have been very happy with both her education and her personal growth. During her time here, I have seen her develop academically while also becoming more independent, confident, and demonstrating stronger leadership skills.Like any school, CMA has areas where it can continue to improve. No school is perfect. However, what has stood out to me is that the leadership team genuinely listens to parent feedback and works to implement meaningful changes. I have personally seen concerns addressed, and I appreciate their willingness to continuously improve.One thing I also keep in mind is the incredible work educators do every day. Teachers and school staff dedicate countless hours to helping children succeed, often while being underpaid and working with limited resources. That perspective has given me an even greater appreciation for their commitment and care.I also believe that a child's education begins at home. As parents and guardians, we are our children's first teachers and strongest advocates. It is our responsibility to stay involved by attending conferences, monitoring academic progress, communicating openly with teachers, and supporting intervention plans both at home and in partnership with the school. The best outcomes happen when families and educators work together.CMA is a relatively small school, and with that comes both strengths and limitations. Some programs may not be as extensive or have the same level of resources as larger schools. As parents, it's important to understand those realities while also recognizing the close-knit community and individualized attention that a smaller school can provide.Overall, our experience has been a positive one. We have seen our child thrive academically, socially, and personally, and we are grateful for the educators and staff who have been part of that journey. For our family, CMA has been a place where our child is known, supported, and encouraged to grow.
