Read what parents are saying about J F Burns Elementary SchoolMy grandson attended 1-4 th grade here! Fromm Mr.Al the bus driver to Ms Montag and all the teachers and staff Cameron loved his school. Last year when he got off the bus he was in tears. He said he would miss all his friends He was finishing his 3rd year So I’m sure today he will be even sadder.. Thank you everyone who touched Cameron’s life in a positive way! Bless you!
Posted by a parent on 5/22/2018My daughter has attended J F Burns for the past 3 years, and our experience there has been outstanding. She needed advanced educational opportunities, and the school has been attentive to ensure she's been challenged. The school provides a very positive, supportive environment for kids and the administration has been responsive to any concerns I've brought forth. The teachers have been kind but firm, communicative, and approachable-- and responsive. The workload has been appropriate, and the overall experience there has been terrific. Of utmost importance: my daughter has been VERY HAPPY at J F Burns and always looks forward to going to school! That is the biggest endorsement I can give!

Posted by a parent on 12/28/2011J. F. Burns is an awesome school for all children! It has such a positive atmosphere from the moment you walk into it. The administration sets this positive tone. Our children have been receiving a high quality education and have received any and all support and/or enrichment they have needed. There are many varied enrichment programs available, as well. A+++++

Next year our daughter will be in second grade and she has had wonderful experiences so far at the school. They genuinely care about how the students are progressing and offer many opportunities for children that need extra help to receive it.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat a wonderful school! The teachers really KNOW each individual child, where they are socially, and where they are academically. The teachers are kind, but not enabling. Both my children have learned so much academically, but even more importantly respect and compassion, right and wrong. I realize a lot of people think Montessori schools have no order, but that’s definitely not true at MAC. On the contrary, they emphasize order, letting the kids lead but set boundaries. Academically l, my children are more advanced than all their friends in the public school setting. More importantly to me, they have acquired problem solving skills, and ability to embrace failure/mistakes to make themselves better each day. The school was founded on a commitment to glorifying God in all aspects of life, and that continues to permeate every class and every activity. The school is committed to truth, to thinking clearly, to reasoning soundly, and to cultivating a lifelong love of learning about the world God made. We can't say enough about the teachers in particular. They take genuine pleasure in their subject matter; they demonstrate sincere devotion to God; and they love and enjoy our children. Each teacher our kids have had has helped us grow in our understanding of our children's character, both in areas of gifting and in areas that need growth and correction.
