Primrose School of Symmes

Don't be fooled by good overall test scores. Those are just indicative of the many students from rich families. Symmes has a ton of work to do. The teachers are really nice people and are trying hard but administration sets up a bad culture that is highly arrogant. That aggects the teaching. They do not take imput from families and often will not met with them. When they do, families imput and concerns are disregarded. As a parent with a special needs student , Symmes is earning their poor growth and attendance from disabled students. They are not doing well with their accelerated students either. Even if you don't have disabled or accelerated student, why would you want to send your student to a school that can't help struggling or accelerated students? Every student fits those category at some point. If your student struggles, they simply say get a tutor becuase so many families can afford it. If your student is bored they don't care as long as the student's test scores are good. That's not my idea of a great school.

Best experience ever! Faculty and staff are amazing and truly love the students! My daughter attended LBA 4 years for high school. Wished we had started here sooner!

What a wonderful school! The teachers really KNOW each individual child, where they are socially, and where they are academically. The teachers are kind, but not enabling. Both my children have learned so much academically, but even more importantly respect and compassion, right and wrong. I realize a lot of people think Montessori schools have no order, but that’s definitely not true at MAC. On the contrary, they emphasize order, letting the kids lead but set boundaries. Academically l, my children are more advanced than all their friends in the public school setting. More importantly to me, they have acquired problem solving skills, and ability to embrace failure/mistakes to make themselves better each day. Can’t say enough good things about MAC!

I vokunteered at the school. The contact for my club Graham Bowling disrespted me several times. Left me alone with the students when i asked him not to. He gossiped about other teachers. One student addressed him as girl and he replied " its queen.Told me one thing then did another.His behavior was apparently accepted by principal Terrel Thomas and effectively cosigned by him..They have no volunteer protocol t h at shows Christian respect
