Posted by a student on 11/13/2019Teachers don't teach. Only a few of them will even care about the grades a student gets. Faculty is terrible and doesn't care about the wellbeing of students as much as the teachers do. Office faculty is incompetent and loses important papers all the time. Important information never reaches the students properly. Principal is consistently absent. Dress code is way too strict. Tuition money seemingly goes nowhere that benefits the students. Speaking of students, most of them are racist, mysoginistic brats that don't ever get in trouble no matter what they do because they're a "valued" member of a sports team. No music opportunities at all. Art program is funded mostly by the teacher herself and the club part is dying. The only good thing i have to say about this school is the drama club, it's amazingly organized and a welcoming environment; probably because it's entirely funded by fundraisers and the school actually has no part in it at all. Just don't waste your money sending your kid here, I spent my entire school career here (kindergarten included) and trust me when I say you will destroy your kid's opportunities if they go here.
Posted by a student on 6/12/2017This school has really impressed me. It truly is like a family that not only understands the importance of academic excellence but the urgency of nurturing, guiding, and protecting our children. My child has had a wonderful first year of high school and the moment he needed support, the Sacred Heart administrative team comprised of Father Maurice, principal Dececco, and their guidance counselors responded immediately in a fair and respectable manner. The teachers go above and beyond on a daily basis and are the main reason why my child feels comfortable and engaged at this school. As a parent, my child's academics are a priority, but their safety and emotional happiness are a NON NEGOTIABLE and for this reason we give this school 5 stars. I am so grateful for this school and all they do!

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was my son's first year in this school...in any school for that matter. We had the pleasure and good fortune of having Mrs. Jones as his Pre-K teacher. As any parent sending off their babies to school for the very first time, I too had my reservations and was very nervous sending him off. Rest assured all first time school parents, this is a great school. Mrs. Jones is an excellent teacher and just an amazing human being in general. She wholeheartedly cares for and loves each and every child in her class, and calls them "my babies". The principal, Ms. Davis, sends out an autmated voicemail every night alerting parents of every little (or big) event or change taking place. You never feel lost, or the last to know. I love the updates, and im very happy with the progress my little boy has made with Mrs. Jones. He loves her with all her heart, and that speaks volumes about the kind of teacher she is. Would recommend Paideia 24 to anyone.Parent Review4y ago - Mlk Jr High Tech And Computer Magnet School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am going to be honest, this school is literally out of control. I'm a person in which I'd rather not say, had witnessed several fights in a single school week. This is OUTRAGEOUS. And I obviously would not recommend this horrible school. One person in my class, always gets hated on and always gets into fights in a physical manner every few days.Student Review3mo ago - School 9

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son loves the school, he has made a lot of academic progress and that makes me happy. I don't know why the score is so low compared to others. I dare say it is one of the best schools.Parent Review4mo ago - School 16

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis review is for the pre k level. The teachers are fantastic, the work that is given to the kids great. The art and music for the little ones far exceeded my expectations. I was doubtful at first about sending my kids but I am glad they are attending this program.Parent Review3y ago - Andalusia School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a parent of a student at this school who has been enrolled here since Pre-K 3. I have been very happy with his academic and social growth here. The teachers, staff and principal treat all kids like their own and parents are always in the loop regarding what's going on with the school. There is a strong focus on academics and character development despite the lack of an art or physical education curriculum at the lower grades. The school is very small and select in its enrollment and the facilities aren't state of the art. Despite this, my child has grown up with a strong vocabulary, started reading at the age of 4, and scores high in math. If you're looking for a school that emphasizes technology or physical education, this may not be the place for you. If you're looking for a safe, nurturing environment where academic growth is the focus, then you've found your place!Parent Review2y ago
