4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student at the great carol hill school, (Care for ALL!) is the way we used to pronounce the name because that what makes a good elementary school. I myself was a bit hyper and had trouble focusing with my ADHD. But back in the 90’s things were a lot more simple…teaching was always great it was me that was the issue, my parents always played a roll in my school work. My father even used to come dressed up as Santa every year. Boy did that make me feel special. You Always you get out what you put in to this school just like anything else in life ! Yes this is a big diversity we’re you have working blue collar family’s mixed with family’s who may not be as fortunate who live in the Griswold heights apartments, of course you will have a couple knuckle heads but above all everybody was nice I had alot of friends from both my neighborhood and within the apartments and most of us now are productive members of society. Do not hesitate if you live within the district go to carol hill and CARE FOR ALL!Other Review3y ago4 Reviews - Ps 14

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is genuinely excited to go to school everyday. The school is doing a terrific job retaining qualified and passionate teachers and staff that are actually happy to be there.Parent Review6mo ago9 Reviews - Ps 16

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am beyond disappointed with Menands School. The level of disorganization and lack of accountability here is unbelievable. Communication with parents is practically nonexistent—important updates are either sent last minute or not at all. The staff acts dismissive instead of supportive, and concerns are brushed off instead of addressed. The administration seems completely out of touch with what students actually need. Discipline is inconsistent, favoritism is obvious, and the environment feels more toxic than educational. Kids should feel safe, respected, and encouraged at school, but instead, it feels like they’re just being pushed through the system. Menands school has failed to address multiple issues related to bullying sexual harassment. Menands School has gone so far downhill it’s shocking. What used to be a decent, community-focused school has completely downgraded in every way. The quality of education has slipped, the staff seems overwhelmed and uninterested, and the administration is more concerned with appearances than actually solving problems. I do not recommend this school.Parent Review7mo ago9 Reviews - Gardner Dickinson School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a very small school. Approximately 40 students per year. With a Principle and a Superintendent. My child has been in this school since kindergarten and in now starting 6th grade. The school is currently on third Principle. One principle became the Superintendent, with no experience.Parent Review2y ago4 Reviews - Susan Odell Taylor School
