Needs improvement. Staff needs to be on the same page, and they all should have the same information - I can ask 5 different staff members the same question and get 5 different responses. Teachers should be informed - sewms like administration is hoarding information bc teachers can't answer questions bc they honestly do not know procedures at the school

Overall the school is okay in the sense that it's a school and it's close by. Many of the students know of one another from being in the same neighbor Hood, but it definitely has alot of things it needs improvement on. I hope the new changes happening now including having a new principal helps make the 2020 school year a more positive one. There are a few great teachers and most of the staff I do know of are very professional in their job titles, others on the other hand are rude and need to be retrained to work in a school setting period. I hope this school starts to improve soon. It can be alot better.

Read the negative comments closely. The negative reviews are truthful. Your child will do better staying in public school. Do not put your child in this school if he has a learning disability. They do not have the appropriate services. Many of the teachers are inadequately prepared to teach. You will want to ask for each teachers credentials to make sure they are certified teachers. You will want to read carefully through IEPs that are developed for your child. Make sure they are receiving all the appropriate services (eg: speech therapy, occupational therapy, assistive technology that will support reading and writing,etc.). Read and research special education and what you do not understand, ask questions. Make sure you are well versed when it comes to special education and learning disabilities. Make sure you inspect what you expect and document in writing. For many of our black and brown boys, they are not receiving the education they are entitled to. To be honest, I would suggest you not put your child in this school. (Boys Prep - Bronx) Unfortunately there is a lack of professionalism, integrity, honesty, ethics, etc. BEWARE!!!
