Staff needs to be on the same page, and they all should have the same information - I can ask 5 different staff members the same question and get 5 different responses. Teachers should be informed - sewms like administration is hoarding information bc teachers can't answer questions bc they honestly do not know procedures at the school
Posted by a parent on 9/9/2019This is my oldest's second year and my middle one's first year at this school and i am just enchanted with how great the teachers are with their students and towards the parents...my daughters are been taught so much very quickly...the staff at the office and the security guard are so welcoming, they make you feel like we are all one huge family. The school is always so clean and everything so organized i have nothing negetive to say about p.s001
Posted by a parent on 12/9/2015A current display of a lack of professionalism, and an ambiance of no accountability which is consistent with reports of the principals and can be found even in an online article by Merrow. It seems that parent are solely responsible for the failures of the children, but when they pass I do not see the parents receiving recognition.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall the school is okay in the sense that it's a school and it's close by. Many of the students know of one another from being in the same neighbor Hood, but it definitely has alot of things it needs improvement on. I hope the new changes happening now including having a new principal helps make the 2020 school year a more positive one. There are a few great teachers and most of the staff I do know of are very professional in their job titles, others on the other hand are rude and need to be retrained to work in a school setting period. She went to 1 school in Chelsea, 1 in Queens and this one in the Bronx. Both of my kids have learned so much in their short time being here. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give 10 stars I would. My son and daughter both go to Zeta Tremont Park. Both of them love the school as do I. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and caring from the security guard to the Administration. I absolutely my kids teacher they communicate very well and always have a smile on.
