Not sure how the teacher can focus on students. Asked few friends from other schools, all classes are around 27 students with a teacher and an assistance. The school needs to cont

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was a student at Petrides for a LONG time. I was constantly bullied and shoved around. I was getting death threats from kids in 9th and 10th grade when i was in middle school. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME I went to a dean or admin or the principal, They always turned their back towards me and didn't do ANYTHING to the students who were bullying me. They didn't talk to the kids or their parents, they didn't suspend them, they did NOTHING!!! I wish I could have said I had a good run at petrides but I didn't. This school sucks and so do the faculty members. My mental health crashed and I went into a year long depression state and much more. Thank God i left that school and met new friends and actual staff members who care about their students and do something when bullied is happening plus my mental health is back up and I'm fine. This school has been working hard on the extra curricular activities including principal book club, test prep for my third grader. Hiphop classes!! The school community tends to be small enough that students might get more individual attention. There's some mental health/ social worker support, though the number of social workers per student.
