Ps 206 The Horace Harding School

I have had 2 children here, starting in 2018 and one is still there. This is a fantastic gem that is underrated in the community. Don’t sleep on this school! They have a variety of clusters, daily recess that is prioritized, and weekly enrichment based on student interest. My kids have learned so many cool things in enrichment! Mock trial, crocheting, physics, newspaper - the offerings are incredible. Admin is very responsive and make decisions that prioritize kids. We’ve never had a teacher we didn’t like. I love 175 and couldn’t be happier that my kids started their schooling here.

I was there for a year at this school. The principal there provided little to no support. If she was angry and that's most of the times, she takes it out on you. And the students? Most of them were okay. But there were two that got away with MANY of the behaviors because the principal didn't do anything to address it.The staff? They were mostly okay. But unhappy principal means unhappy staff.Ever since I left, I blossomed into a better teacher. And this school? Taught me that some principal should not be leading a school.

P.S. 13 has been an incredible experience for our family. The teachers are truly hardworking and deeply committed to their students’ growth, both academically and personally. Their dedication shows not only in the classroom, but also in the thoughtful way they communicate with parents—always keeping us informed, involved, and confident in our child’s progress.My daughter absolutely loves her school and especially her teacher, which speaks volumes about the nurturing and engaging environment they’ve created. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about each child’s well-being and success.What makes P.S. 13 even more special is the variety of fun events and activities throughout the year. These moments bring the school community together and create lasting memories for the students. It’s a place where learning is joyful, connections are strong, and children feel supported every day.

I went to school there back in the early 70's for first and second grade and even at my age now, I still carry what I have learned there into adulthood.

I am a RACA alumni now at Chaminade and I can confidently say it has prepared me for high school and it was some of the best nine years of my life making friends that I’m still close with today a great school for anyone K-8.

Todo bien pero en la cafetería de la escuela abia un raton y lo mat4ron hay mismo dosde estábamos comiendo, nos quitaron el apetito, en fin si recomiendo esta escuela por su enseñanza
