I went to school there back in the early 70's for first and second grade and even at my age now, I still carry what I have learned there into adulthood.

Mrs. Armstrong is no longer a principal of the school, instead they hired someone who has NO BACKGROUND in education and no experience with children. We feel OLA has lowered standards in some cases to keep seats filled and tuition checks flowing in. A 6th & 7th

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 2 children here, starting in 2018 and one is still there. This is a fantastic gem that is underrated in the community. Don’t sleep on this school! They have a variety of clusters, daily recess that is prioritized, and weekly enrichment based on student interest. My kids have learned so many cool things in enrichment! Mock trial, crocheting, physics, newspaper - the offerings are incredible. Admin is very responsive and make decisions that prioritize kids. We’ve never had a teacher we didn’t like. If she was angry and that's most of the times, she takes it out on you. And the students? Most of them were okay. But there were two that got away with MANY of the behaviors because the principal didn't do anything to address it.The staff? They were mostly okay. But unhappy principal means unhappy staff.Ever since I left, I blossomed into a better teacher. And this school?
