this is such a bad school, please don't send your child there. the bullying is just so much and the fact that no one does anything is just so absurd, there's fights every 5 seconds and again no one stops them. so please if you don't want your child to be harassed and bullied don't send them here.

Posted by a community member on 12/18/2014Just attended tonight's PTA meeting and I was very impressed with the turnout of parents. The school presented our children with awards from the 1st marking period. You can really tell that the staff and administration cares about the students.
Posted by a parent on 12/17/2014The school offers students and the community many programs such as ESL classes, athletics, free tutoring with Beacon/City Year, Adult GED, Literacy, and much more. The teachers are helpful and caring towards the students.

For a long time, I made excuses, telling myself the school was simply doing its best. However, I was deeply disappointed by the decision to hire the current assistant principal this year. From my experience, she struggles to support students emotionally, lacks effective problem-solving skills, and is unable to connect with students. I was not alone in these concerns, many parents in her class expressed similar feelings in group chats, I’m sure if anyone asks guardians around what they think of her they’ll share. As a parent of multiple students of PS112, an educator myself, and a volunteer at the school, I could say much more. It’s truly disappointing to see this performance rewarded. I sincerely hope the school reflects and does better for its students and families moving forward.
