My family has been a part of Harlem Link since 2019! The best decision we made was putting our children in this charter school. The staff is fantastic and very hands-on. The teachers we have had the pleasure of working with have been the best experience for us and our kids. This community feels like family. Thank you always for your hard work and dedication, and for treating our children like yours.

We have had a wonderful experience at Locke. My daughter is in Pre-K and was in 3K last year. The teachers are wonderful, and there is a new principal who seems to be doing an excellent job. The community is engaged, inclusive, diverse, and down-to-earth. The enrichment opportunities are stellar and really set Locke apart from many other D3 schools: art, music, engineering (legos), physical education, and both an outdoor garden and indoor hydroponics lab with a specialized teacher. Parent volunteers revamped the library after many years, and there is now a beautiful, burgeoning library too. (Many elementary schools in NYC sadly do not have school libraries!) There are also several on-site afterschool options.

This school is absolutely horrible , if you care about your child's wellbeing and education send them elsewhere.This school should be closed down , the people running it should be fired , this school is a complete joke there are probably only 5 teachers who actually care and arent there for the paycheck.

The support staff in this school is amazing, they really act like these kids are their kids. The teachers love the kids. The parent coordinator goes above and beyond and the assistant principal is amazing with jr highschool kids.

Rating 4 out of 5 Our son is a sophomore and we have been very pleased. The school has quality and engaging instruction + lots of sports and extracurriculars + a very positive social and emotional environment. Great school!

HCA currently has me as a grown man almost 20 years later STILL confused on how they’ve managed to fool parents into thinking that they are a good or even a DECENT enough place to conduct learning for the youth. I personally have attended HCA in the early 2000’s & 22 almost 23 years later their doors are still open. Ironically the administration is the farthest from anything close to being christian. It’s unfortunate but maybe the parents didn’t have the funds to find a better lane of information for their children & this was the best they could do so i don’t blame the parents. BUT i would much rather have my kids HOMESCHOOLED then send them off to that cancerous environment!!!!!
