I am extremely disappointed with the way concerns about student safety have been handled at this school. Multiple staff members have witnessed a staff member putting their hands on a student inappropriately, the student also has special needs, and these concerns have reportedly been brought to the principal’s attention on numerous occasions through emails and in-person reports.Despite repeated complaints, no meaningful action appears to have been taken. The student has openly stated that the staff member hits them, yet the staff member continues to work directly with the student. This has left many employees concerned that reports are not being taken seriously and that the well-being of students is not being prioritized.A school should be a safe environment where students are protected and concerns are thoroughly investigated. When multiple people raise the same concerns and nothing changes, it creates a lack of trust in the school’s leadership and commitment to student safety.I hope the appropriate steps are taken to ensure that all reports are properly reviewed and that every student receives the protection and support they deserve.

I am a long-time parent and an active member of the school community. The school has been in a decline over the years with current deaf students leaving in droves. It's a shame, because I had high hopes for the school. I would love to see more representation and inclusion from the top-down (including the administrators - none of whom are deaf). Very inconsistent use of ASL - not used in the classrooms, elementary ASL class without a curriculum, and no ASL class in middle school. My children will not be returning next year.

Have had a great experience here so far. Great school overall.

Second year for son there. So far we are very happy about it. They are focusing a lot on reading, and not enough on math in my opinion.
