Though neither of his parents speak Spanish, he's come so far thanks to dual language. He's now a reader and though started behind, his teacher noticed, got him a tutor, and worked regularly with us to get him on grade level, all at no cost to us. I feel a true partnership with the teachers and administration. And, the PTA puts on dozens of events throughout the year bringing the community together. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children, now 7 and 5, have been at St. Hilda's since they were toddlers and we can't say enough of the incredible and loving community there. The school is able to beautifully balance rigorous academics with building moral character. The school is able to create a balance of specials and academic core and I believe truly sees my children individually with love and support. For a private school in NYC, the parent community is very relaxed and down to earth. There is a rigorousness to the school without creating deep stress or competitiveness.
