Posted by a parent on 5/5/2019Horrible school. Lack of communication. Horrible teachers. Bias, Be careful, Do not send your child here! Plus every year they go through a 'school is closing threat' they need to just close the school already. I believe they will soon.

Posted by a parent on 2/3/2016I agree with the poster from below. Charter Schools are not what they appear to be. I changed my child school for reasons beyond my control. But we found a home and family in STEM. I highly recommend this school to parents often. Great School.-Theatre Program (Broadway Junior)-Engineering Teacher & Technology Teacher who expose the students to material that not every school has...like robotics and computer coding. - Great Leadership. Thank you Principal Hendricks, Ms. Perez and Ms. Ashley- Great Welcoming Enviorment for parents

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHarlem Link is a great school. My daughter has been a student at this school since pre-kindergarten and is now in third grade. The teachers are excellent and genuinely care about the students. The school is well organized, clean, and well-rounded. There is good communication among administrators, teachers, and parents. In addition to excellent teaching, there are educational and entertaining activities available, such as mock restaurants for first graders to teach students a fun way to count money, work as a team, and invite parents to be customers. The school also has a Harlem Link News Paper Crew, which is led by second graders who work on creative writing, meeting organization, and the importance of teamwork. I am also very proud of the fact that my daughter founded the HL newspaper. Overall, this is a great school.Parent Review8mo ago - Ps 76 A Phillip Randolph

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOn my behalf, and on behalf of all the members of the community you have supported, I’d like to specifically thank Keena Flournoy White. I congratulate her and thank her, and wish her good luck in the futur. I know that the quality of leadership and entrepreneurship she has contributed to Ps 149 Sojourner Truth will take her far in life. My wish is for her to continue to advocate for the Departement Of Education because I know that me and her have done a lot of work for the district 3 and I look forward to continuing that with her.Other Review4mo ago - Locke School for Arts and Engineering

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are so lucky to be a part of this school! The teachers, admin, families and entire experience has been wonderful. Our older 2 went to private school before 3K was available and the Locke School program is every bit as wonderful if not more. We get an extremely detailed and thoughtful weekly newsletter from the teachers and the activities in which my daughter participates are excellent. She has learned so much and we have made such nice friends in the community. The school has a warm and inviting spirit where the children and families are cherished. Would highly recommend the Locke School!Parent Review3mo ago - Clara Mohammed School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA very inadequate school. There is a great deal more of nepotism that occurs which is very unfortunate. A group of inexperienced and authoritative young people who act as if they know what they are doing. Charters are supposed to be creative, and fundamentally better than public. This school showed all of the opposite which led them to failing out.Other Review10mo ago
