They have improved with much more support for special needs children. They communicate and have monthly support for parents. Love the bussing for all kids in Dobbs.

This school is excellent - they truly care about all students and work very hard to make sure everyone feels included, safe, and free to be themselves, whatever that might mean. They administration is very responsive to the community as a whole, and (most) teachers are responsive to parent questions and concerns about their children. I think there might be one or two teachers who might think about retiring because they a struggling to accept that society and education are changing, but on the whole, it’s a really great school.

The administration of this school, especially the principal, is insincere and biased. They treat certain students and parents better than others. Mrs. Chapnick is all about appearances and does not care about substance. The focus is on anything but the learning… overall very superficial experience. Also, bullying is frequently overlooked and shoved under the rug. My kids all now thankfully graduated from MSS, and I am happy to see them having moved away from this school. I think the principal talks the talk and walks the walk, but if you look carefully under the hood you can see how rotten everything is. I’m

Poor leadership and support for students and families. Declining school system year after year has caused our family as well as many others to move out of the district or go private. Not the Ardsley of the past!

We had high hopes when we enrolled our child at Concord Road Elementary, but we were shocked by the school handled a serious bullying incident. It involved physical aggression, racial comments, and social exclusion.We reached out to the school and district multiple times, shared documentation, and asked for support, but instead of addressing the issue, their response seemed like they cared more about avoiding responsibility and protecting themselves than protecting our child.We’ve heard from other families in the district who’ve gone through similar situations, where their concerns were ignored or brushed aside. Our child ended up feeling completely unsafe and unsupported. We had to withdraw him from this school.The district promotes values like “inclusion” and “kindness,” but in our experience, those values were nowhere to be found when we really needed them. If you’re considering this school, I urge you to look deeper.

I do not recommend it for a kids who only has speech league impairment because it is a school for kids with a stronger disability, not for a kids who has reading impairment disability.All kids are together no matter what disability they have.As a mother, I do not recommend it if your kids has a EIP due to speech language impairment. The other alternative is to treat our kids and not put them in a place where they are surrounded by all kids with different types of disabilities.
