We love PS 315. My son is happy in 1st grade at the school. His teachers strive to make the class engaging and interactive. I'm amazed by how much he is learning this year. He has music, art, dance, gym and even has a weekly class with the Dance Theatre of Harlem. The school community is very welcoming and warm. The PTA is growing and there are many ways to get involved. An amazing, large new playground will be finished in May - with new equipment, a track, basketball and outdoor classroom. The school Administration is really responsive to the parents.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Midwood Montessori. I highly recommend Cortelyou Academy. My child attended both the school year program and the summer camp, and our experience was excellent. It’s a small, family-oriented school where I always felt confident that my child was safe, happy, and truly learning. The academics are rigorous, but the environment is warm and supportive. Children are challenged without being treated like they’re in the military (unlike that popular charter school). Cortelyou Academy has a great balance between high academic standards and genuine care for students.
