P.S.100 is just as wonderful as Christmas morning. The staff goes above and beyond any expectations. Our son felt comfortable there from the very first day. It’s safe and welcoming. Kids play in the schoolyard most of the time during recess. In the second grade, our son had a fantastic teacher, Ms. Farillo, who is very supportive, knowledgeable, and kind. This year, his classroom teacher is Ms. Korkis. She is a phenomenal teacher and a human being. ELA in the third grade is on a completely different level as kids learn to write essays and analyze complicated texts. Ms. Korkis always finds a way to explain challenging concepts, guiding kids through every step of the process. She is loving and kind, organized and engaging, enthusiastic and encouraging. We are very grateful to the staff of P.S. 100 for everything they do.

The worse Public school I saw. I had two kids in other schools on Long Island and the schools were completely different .It took me a year to meet and understand the staff. I find them horrible, especially the assistant’s principal. The principal himself himself covers everything done in school. My son had a top part of a pencil shoved under his skin and nobody even listened to him. He was pushed from the stairs, nobody called me.It’s a school of horror.

This review was written in end of 2015.I see not much has changed . So here is a copy of what was written :This is our second and last year at this school. If you're looking for a school that creates an encouraging and educational environment with qualified staff, AVOID this school at all costs. They're absolutely terrible at everything the only thing that's working well here is .. Well nothing that helps your child in any way. Not only do they lack the knowledge, skills or basic effort- they extremely bad at labeling children with negative labels and unqualified diagnosis. What ever you do avoid these guys - check and double check before even coming near this school. Please take these words too heart - this is the worst school in Brooklyn!Actually , our child was withdrawn in the middle of the year because we were threatened by the lower school P that if we don’t label our child with a special need classification then he will be kicked out from this school . Stay away!!!! Moshiach will never come with such evil people working there !!! Unless you’re a generous contributor to this school they won’t leave you alone and will make you and your child crazy . The last thing you want is to make your child miserable- stay AWAY!!!! What they are learning academically is even behind public schools !! What a joke ! Save your $, your kid and your mental health !!!!!!! Do not attend this school !!!! Research and you will find many stories just like mine ( well ours )!!!!
