Posted by a parent on 5/2/2023Today we spoke with the principle of this school. She was rude, interrupted, and ended up hanging up. Now everyone has difficult times, but we need to somehow support each other, and not be rude. Peace to all.
Posted by a parent on 9/30/2020Be aware, this school is a prime example of discrimination at it's finest within the NYC Public Education System. With a 90% student population of a white student body, this school will do it's utmost best to weed out any students they feel does not fit in with the "perfect" picture they paint of themselves. Violating laws including the Americans With Disabilities Act, this school does not only act outside the parents' consent but also creates a hostile learning environment for children with disabilities.
Posted by a parent on 2/28/2018My daughter is about to finish this school in 2017. I couldn't be more happy!!! Staff are amazing!!!One of the favorite teachers of my daughter is Mrs. Egan!!! Principal Mrs. Toomey is a great principal. 4th and 5th graders are participating in very exiting program Future Problem Solvers Program International: which challenged kids on different levels. Thank you PS-195 for 6 great years!!!
Posted by a parent on 5/27/2017My daughter is in the pre k class, Awesome class, excellent teacher and caring principal. Not a "diverse school" per se. So if your looking for that, then its not for you. Its a great school. And I say this and I am not Russian. I went there many decades ago and am so very happy with my daughters environment and education.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI did not have a good experience. Communication to parents is terrible. This year they combined PS 100 or something and was not aware until the 1st day of school. These teachers sound so overwhelmed. Can’t even remember a conversation they held with a specific child. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWorsest school in Brooklyn. Teachers don't care what is going on in the class, no homework whatsoever, very poor teacher- parent communication. No matter how hard I tried to make a connection with teacher all my attempts are failed.
