Posted by a parent on 6/24/2021The new principal is making positive changes, and communication and responsiveness from administration is improving dramatically. Still has excellent teachers, and great enrichment during the school day and after school and wonderful diversity.

PTA has improved quite a bit over the last few years, but could use more participation. The classroom teachers and special subject teachers make this school excellent, despite the administration.

My child has made a sweet group of friends across the past few years at PS 133 and is excited to go to school every day. Student body is diverse and complex: consists of Gen ed, Spanish DLP, French DLP, and ICT classrooms. Very international school alongside families with deep roots in brooklyn. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an excellent school. The principal and teachers are is very interested and involved in the students academic and character development. The teachers are qualified and well trained. The school has a history of producing great students, some who have matriculated to specialized high schools, over the decades. Many professionals in the work force have been educated at this school. This school builds a strong foundation within its students academically, mentally and spiritually. Faculty support and encourage the students. The classes are small and the students get a lot of much needed attention. My child attended this school for 10 years (Pre-K - 8th Grade) and just recently graduated in June 2020.
