Posted by a parent on 3/31/2026PS133 is, quite frankly, an educational crime scene.What is happening inside some of these classrooms should alarm any parent. This is not a nurturing or even neutral learning environment — it is chaotic, intimidating, and, at times, openly hostile toward the very children it is supposed to support.

My son in Kindergarten (the non-gifted classroom) left reading above grade level, loved his teacher and friends, and thrived during a really difficult and confusing time. Having gone to a rigorous private school on the Upper East Side myself, I hold high standards for her education. I've been impressed with the school thus far. It is challenging yet engaging.
