Eagle Point Elementary School

This school does not provide extra assistance for students who have a difficult time in Math. Families are told to go to the library and get a tutor instead. This is very disappointing and is not good for students who do not have confidence in themselves to learn the material. Two years of remote learning has put children in a learning crisis. So if you are sending your child to this school make sure that you have a tutor.

Both of my children have had an excellent experience at this school. They have continued to perform well due to the great teachers they have had and a comfortable learning environment. This school also has the diversity of a city school which was important to our family and allows them to interact with different races, religions and economic backgrounds.

This school has excellent teachers, a passionate principal and involved parents. The atmosphere and culture of the school is warm. It is a community. The Montessori approach works well for advanced students, average students and those struggling.

Even though my son is older now and in college - I regularly comment that Mater Christi School developed his character (and studying habits!) that enables him to excel years later.

This is a horrible school and has a terrible administration. Their tolieting policy in their handbook states tolieting accidents will be handled with teachers or aides wearing gloves to change the student . My child was left alone in a hallway sitting in their own feces waiting over 20 mins for me to get there to change and clean them !!!! Then we were told they had to leave ! This happened more than 2 times! Parents be prepared to come get your kid and leave work !!! That was their response to a student learning to adapt to a new school !!!

There is discrimination in the school and no one is doing anything about it. My kid was bully,hit on the private area and was asked to leave the school for no reason. His grade three teacher tried to cover her mess ,not polite to kids in her class; lied to the principal then sent my kid out of her class just because parent asked for mediation in the class. My kid was left by himself in the hallway over a week, no class or supervision. How cruel a school can be to an innocent kid..
