I love that Corrales is the local school in our community. It is a warm and caring environment; many of the teachers are residents of the Village and bring the Village feel to the school. I am excited that this the school will soon add an 8th grade. My kids can keep attending our local school! Great

However, I have an autistic son that was suspended three times in the first month for a variety of typical autistic if not five year old behaviors. One of the incidents, he bit a teacher that was physically restraining him

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe office staff and teachers are very welcoming. My child is warmly greeted by multiple teachers every morning when I drop her off. The school is doing more outdoor learning and field trips than in the past. There was a agriculture day with llamas, chickens, games and special visitors recently. It was so cool to hear my child come home talking about soil and farming. The class sizes are small, whcih I really like. Teachers are helpful and work with my student on reading especially. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWonderful school! I was a hesitant parent because I am very over protective of my child. Also, because you see so much bad stuff on the news these days. However, I was blown away with the genuine care and thoughtfulness of the staff and teachers here. They really put their heart and soul into this school and love the children as their own. The Montessori education is also mazing for challenging and preparing children for the future. If you are hesitant, don't be.
