So far its 50/50. The homework assignment process is a bit dodgy, could use an overhaul. Also, the HW collection process appears to have cracks by which HW's are not timely collected & hence impacts the child's grades, despite having performed the homework with the child at home in a timely fashion.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give Lawrence Brook Elementary School a 10, I would. This school, the teachers, staff, principal, and security were a pleasure to deal with. Our daughter had an amazing educational and SEL experience here. Her teachers were so caring and gentle with her. Principal Dunn was AMAZING!!! We were saddened when the school went from K-5 to K-4 because we were looking forward to her spending her 5th-grade year here. We love how diverse the school community was. I would happily extend if they had options for elementary, that is how much I love this school. The teachers are kind, smart, sensible and share a beautiful rapport with their students. Their knowledge, experience and the way they embrace Montessori principles are their true strength. Kids enjoy the school days and have shown a wonderful progress in all aspects and behaviors! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen originally looking at the local Catholic schools, this school was ranked third on our list of 3. After attending the schools ranked 1 and 2 on our list (both closed by the Diocese), we were forced to come here. This school should’ve been ranked 8th on our list of 3. It’s been miserable. The students, the parents, the teachers, everything. A miserable experience. The cliques control the school and they DO NOT accept transfers well. If you are planning on attending this school, may I suggest you do it with your oldest child and start from kindergarten. This way you have nothing to compare it to. Attending in any other way will bring you nothing but disappointment… Oh, and make sure your checking account is full.
