Read what parents are saying about Lawrence Brook Elementary SchoolIf I could give Lawrence Brook Elementary School a 10, I would. This school, the teachers, staff, principal, and security were a pleasure to deal with. Our daughter had an amazing educational and SEL experience here. Her teachers were so caring and gentle with her. Principal Dunn was AMAZING!!! We were saddened when the school went from K-5 to K-4 because we were looking forward to her spending her 5th-grade year here. We love how diverse the school community was. Our favorite was when the school had an international night before COVID-19. We will always have great memories of the school.
Posted by a parent on 9/18/2023The school does not only care about the students' academic performance, but also their social skills and developmental health. It strives to develop children to be all-rounded. My son gets good grades accross the board and I don't need to help him a tiny it academically. But the teachers noticed that he has problem organizing his papers, books and homework at school (he messes around at home too), and are working diligently to help him tackle the problems.

Posted by a parent on 7/25/2014My daughter completed her 3rd grade year at Lawrence Brook Elementary. She had a very productive year, We just received her scores from the NJ ASK exam and we were pretty pleased. She did very well, but most importantly she had a great year, with her teacher and her learning experience. She has just started her 4th grade and seems very excited to venture this year and all the activities this school is offering. This season just begun and she is very happy with her teacher and friends. We have been in this school district for a short period (2 yrs)and we are pleased and looking forward to a new year.
Posted by a parent on 9/27/2013Lawrence brook has been great school. My child has improved so much. The teacher give equal attention to all children. My child was reading at an advanced level in his class and he was ahead of the other kids but he was always encouraged to do do more. Other parents are very involved in the school programs too and it is a great atmosphere to learn and grow in.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Parkview school for two months during her kindergarten year. Those short two months exceeded my expectations by far and was very impressed by her teacher’s nurturing nature as well as the expansive material covered over the two months. The transition to my daughters new school, a blue ribbon school, was thankfully very smooth and successful which from my perspective is indicative Milltown’s curriculum is in line and at par with other blue ribbon recognized schools.Parent Review2y ago - Lord Stirling Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI currently have two children attending Woodrow Wilson and they love it. I have to say I was a bit nervous about sending them to school in this district however I am pleasantly surprised at how much the school has grown on me. My children have been there for about 4 years now and every single teacher they have had, I loved. There is great communication throughout and my kids have great friends and are doing very well academically.Parent Review4mo ago - Paul Robeson Community Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA longtime resident of South River and both my children grew up in South River. They both attended universities and are now working as engineers. I believe this school system provided what my children needed to learn and thrive. I recommend this school and applaud its staff for doing underappreciated work each and every day for the betterment of society as a whole.Parent Review1y ago - Central Elementary School
