John Glenn Elementary School

This is our second school year here and by far the best school. There isn’t a ton of homework, my children can usually be done all of their homework in 10-15 minutes at max. The communication among the teachers, the principal, as well as the “special” teachers is amazing. I can email or call and get a response in minutes. They allow us and the teacher additional communication through an app. The teachers also send photos here and there so you can see your child throughout the day or a cool activity they may have done or are doing. My one child has a 504 plan, some difficulties and differences and this school has handled it all and communicated effectively throughout. Thus far I have not had any problems with safety, or harsh punishments within the school or the community. The community as a whole is so welcoming and very involved through and through. They allow so many opportunities for families and parents to be involved throughout the year between trips, fun days or even just reading a story to the children sometimes. Best school, hands down.

Clementon Elementary is a lovely school. The teachers are involved, dedicated, and caring; many have been at the school for a long time. The school is welcoming to children and families.

Awful experience - they do NOT qualify with students who have learning disabilities or mental health issues. Teachers call students names and curse at them. Counselers act nice to students faces but then talk bad about them to other students. The 8th Vice Principal is rude and disrespectful to children then writes them up. The principal is does nothing to help. Keep your children far away! My child graduated and went to a new school and has been doing amazing !!!!

My grandson is doing exceptionally well at Erial. In fact, he is reading above grade level and is in the gifted program. As a former principal, I feel strongly that Erial has great teachers and very competent administrators in a safe, student centered environment. I also appreciate the staff at the latchkey program. It takes a dedicated staff, caring parents and a committed community to foster success in our schools.

I am really surprised by the reviews below. This is the sixth school my kids have been in. They went both public and private. By far OLMC is the best school we have attended. In the last two years two of my girls graduated from OLMC. Their experiences in eight grade were exceptional both in the classroom and socially. The principle is unlike any we have ever encountered. She is truly amazing. The teachers go so far above and beyond. My now 10th grader has the tools to for success in high school because of OLMC. I am certain my 9th grader will do well, she has been placed in all honors classes. And my now 6th grader gets to enjoy 3 more years of OLMC.
