8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love this school. The principal is a phenomenal leader who reinforces and instills the values of kindness, respect and responsibility. The school is the model school for the PBSIS (Positive Behavior Support in Schools) which is a collaboration between the New Jersey Department of Education Office of Special Education and The Boggs Center, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The teachers are organized, responsive and believe in the importance of the parent/teacher collaboration and from kindergarten support a life-long love of learning. The parent teacher organization is active and supports numerous field trips/assemblies for the students. Got everything they asked for: 2 letters of recommendation, 2 years grades, and 2 years standardized tests. Also needed an interview with the principal. I had to do numerous follow ups just to get an interview, which was later postponed. The week of 8/11 I finally went in for the interview. Was told I’d hear back on a couple of days. I was ghosted. No response. I followed up, no response. I could have sent my son to a different school. Totally unprofessional. They need to realize that this has an impact on my family. I expected better from this school. Also, the different seasonal uniform requirement are ridiculous.Parent Review8mo ago
