My daughter's teachers are always encouraging students to participate in class. They make class activities fun to learn.

I was a former teacher at Elliott Street for 4 years before moving to Florida. Elliott Street has high standards and expectations to ensure students are getting the education they deserve. I won’t lie, it is hard work but very rewarding. I had the pleasure to have worked with both Ms. Johnson and Ms. Desantis. Both principals were very professional and approachable. The coaches were always willing to work with me and answer any questions I had. The school building is so modern and full of technology. If you love teaching and are willing to put in the hard work, I definitely recommend working here. If you are a parent looking for a school to enroll your child in, this is a very great school. The rating provided does not take into account the academics of the primary grades, the fact that Elliott has many bilingual students who struggle with English, and students with specials needs. Do not let a rating be the determining factor! Visit the school, meet the staff members, and form your own opinion.

Such an excellent school. From the school culture to the staff efforts and student achievement I am so happy my daughter is graduating from here this year. Homework does not equivalate to achievement. My daughter does not bring home homework in the 8th grade. But she does independent-level practice via the Lexia app to improve reading and Aleks for math help. My daughter is a straight-A student and I owe it to Ridge Street! Thanks for everything <3

Excelent teachers! It is the first time in NJ, the school is the best for me.

I love this school! They teach you well and also give fun to the students. The teachers are nice, but strict at the same time. The teachers are very engaged in what they are doing. They care about the students and give them a safe and clean environment. The hallways are clean, the bathrooms are pretty clean, and the food is good. I would rate this school a 8/10 which is pretty good. I would definitely recommend going there if you want your children to have an amazing time. The grades are pre k all the way to sixth grade. Right now I'm going into sixth grade and cant wait to have another fun school year!

My son has been in this school for 4 years and the experience I have had with the teachers here has not been great. These tenure are very rude and disrespectful to parents (the black parents). They also like to play a lot of mind games and antagonize parents.
