Read what parents are saying about Hawthorne Avenue Elementary SchoolUnfortunately this is a failing school. After my child was there for only a week, it is not hard to see why. The school itself is in poor physical condition. The staff are not supported to be productive or effective. The school, in it's current state, is barely a day care center and far from a institution for young minds to grow and excel.

I pulled my son out of school mid year because it wasn't up to par as far as standard of learning. My son was falling behind from what I was teaching him because the expectation of the curriculum is very low..
