Belmont-Runyon Elementary School

This school has been nothing but a complete disappointment from start to finish. They somehow managed to “lose” important requirements and documents, which already shows a shocking level of disorganization and lack of accountability. On top of that, the quality of teaching is absolutely terrible—lessons feel unstructured, unengaging, and it’s clear that many of the teachers either don’t care or simply aren’t qualified to be in a classroom. The attitudes of the staff are just as bad; instead of being supportive and professional, they come across as rude, dismissive, and unwilling to help students succeed. It’s incredibly frustrating as a parent to see your child placed in an environment where the people responsible for their education act like they don’t even want to be there.And to make matters worse, even the security staff contribute to the negative atmosphere—one security guard spoke to me with a completely unnecessary attitude, as if basic respect and courtesy were too much to ask for.

They don't actually care about student's that get bullied they barley do anything about it and later act like it never happened

Unfortunately this is a failing school. After my child was there for only a week, it is not hard to see why. The school itself is in poor physical condition. The staff are not supported to be productive or effective. The school, in it's current state, is barely a day care center and far from a institution for young minds to grow and excel.

I previously resided in the Bronx ny, I must say Louise a spencer is a relief. They provide all day schooling 8am- 6 pm they provide three meals a day from 7:30am-6 pm. The faculty is stern but caring so it is like a family. The school also is small so everybody knows everybody and your child never is lost in the system with them. I love Principal Pelligrone and Mrs. W. I rate the school 5 stars.

I love the education they give to our babies ! I have all 4 of my kids there with the oldest about to graduate this year and my youngest is in grade 1 . They alway respond to my concerns and make my voice heard . They make sure to provide my kids with the help they need in academics in order to do better
