One of the worst schools I have ever seen in Monroe Township. Special Education here is absolutely horrible. I have a daughter with a rare genetic disorder and she attends this school, she’s nonverbal and has physical limitations. An incident happened where a staff member was injured involving my daughter and the school never notified me keeping it a secret and in turn stopped her PT services without notifying me. This school knew my daughter couldn’t communicate with me what was happening. This school violated her IEP and my rights as a parent preventing me from seeking medical attention for my daughter. Beware if you have a child in Special Education in this school.

Family engagement is not a priority. At conferences teacher didn’t even know my child. Too overcrowded.

I am incredibly grateful to have this school in my community. Although it requires a significant financial commitment, it is a priority for our children's education and spiritual journey. Academically, they are far ahead of their peers in public schools. They love attending school and share that their teachers are both supportive and kind. Of course, there are behavioral expectations. Some parents might express dissatisfaction regarding this. Nevertheless, I am truly HAPPY that St. Thomas maintains high standards and holds both students and parents responsible for their children's behavior. They guide the children spiritually and academically. They also address socio-emotional challenges, but do not tolerate disrespect of staff or other children. Unlike public schools, bullies and aggressive children have the RIGHT to a public school education, therefore they will always return. In private schools, they are asked to leave after a certain number of times violating the rules, which in turn creates a safer environment, fewer distractions, and more focus on learning. Teachers actually care for the students at St Thomas. The school culture and vibes are top-notch. Parental involvement is highly encouraged. -A Blue Ribbon School. "The National Blue Ribbon Schools Program was a prestigious U.S. Department of Education award honoring elementary, middle, and high schools that achieved exceptionally high test scores or made massive strides in closing achievement gaps."
