Very nice school and great academics. My daughter attended kindergarten last year (and loved every minute of it) and will start first grade this fall. We love the school and the town. Mrs L was amazing. Thank you.

Abundant Life Academy has several concerns regarding its academic quality, staffing, facilities, and overall student experience. While no school is perfect, the issues at this institution appear to affect students’ ability to learn in a consistent and supportive environment.One concern is teacher qualifications and staffing. There are reports that some staff members may not have completed college degrees or hold formal teaching certifications. In some cases, individuals appear to transition from being students at the school into teaching roles. This raises concerns about whether all educators are fully prepared to provide effective instruction and classroom management.The quality of instruction is also a concern. Many classes rely heavily on textbook-based work, with students often expected to complete assignments independently with limited direct teaching or explanation. This can make it difficult for students to fully understand material, especially those who need additional academic support.There are also concerns about limited academic offerings, including foreign language classes such as Spanish, which may not always be available due to staffing shortages. This limits students’ access to a well-rounded education.Facility conditions also present challenges. The school appears to have limited classroom space, resulting in small or non-traditional classrooms, including upper-level or loft-like areas. Students also share small lockers that cannot properly hold their belongings, leading to clutter in hallways.In addition, students report feeling rushed during lunch periods, particularly those with later schedules. This reduces the time available to eat and rest during the school day.Concerns have also been raised about fairness and consistency in staff behavior. Some students feel that favoritism exists, with certain students receiving more attention than others. There are also concerns that rules and discipline are not always applied consistently.Finally, there are concerns about transparency regarding fundraising. Parents have contributed money toward projects such as a playground, but completion was significantly delayed. In some cases, families waited years for projects to be finished, raising questions about communication and how funds are managed.Overall, these issues suggest areas for improvement in staffing, instruction, facilities, fairness, and transparency at Abundant Life Academy.
