Madison Avenue Elementary School

I believe that the teachers in this particular school teach effectively. They are knowledgable as well as caring. I have never experience a principle so caring, protective and serious about our children. Please know that this is the type of evidence is being shown to me everyday for 4 years.

I recently graduated from this school, and my experience was HORRIBLE. I attended that school since Kindergarten, and I always had to deal with rude students, rude teachers, and rude staff. Not to mention, one of the ELA teachers treated me like she had something against me. For example, throughout most of my 8th grade year, she NEVER said my name. I absolutely HATED going here and so will your children. I could go all day talking about how bad this school is. Like oh my GOD, the amount of built up anger I had while walking through those hallways. OH, and there is more! The teachers pick favorites, and they make no effort to hide it. The principal seemed to have something against me as well. There is still so much I could say, I am so glad that I graduated. FINALLY. And the school is dirty! They have rats and roaches!

i wouldnt reccomend this school if you have other options there is not one day a fight doesnt break out, especially with the current 5th grade the whole school knows how terrible they act they cant even have physycal education anymore. Some of the staff are saying profanity around and at the students and contradicting themselfs giving out chewing gum and then giving the studests detention for chewing gum

My daughter's teacher Mrs. Bookhart made the school year great! She's a fantastic teacher! Her caring dedication was shown consistently through the school year.

I want to start off by saying, this school is trying very hard to be the best in their town and that’s the problem they are not thinking outside of the town. If the parents don’t care. Neither will the staff.

My daughter has been attending Groove at elementary since kindergarten, and she is on her way to the third grade. I enjoy how the teachers and staff are dedicated to the students well being and most of all academic.. My only problem would be that they don't send notices out in a timely fashion.. It's usually the day before if not the day of.
