I have came home crying because of the kids

Gentlemen, the principal of this school is a highly unprofessional individual—or at least, that is how she treated my wife and me. Let me explain: my son was involved in a minor accident while playing soccer; he and another boy both jumped for the ball, and the other child fell to the ground and injured his arm. After reviewing the video footage, the principal accused my son of intentionally causing the injury. When I demanded that she show us a longer segment of the video, she kicked us out of her office because she wanted us to admit that our son had acted out of malice. The assistant director arrived at the office, where I asked him if he could answer a question for me. He very politely agreed, but the director grabbed the door, slammed it in our faces, and did not allow us to ask him the question.

Don’t send your student to this school.

My child attended this school for 2.5 yrs where he completed Kindergarten. I am a Highland Park resident and although I could have sent my child to a public school which is free, myself and my husband felt that our son would be better off emotionally, mentally and academically if he was to stay a further year. He had no interest in writing or reading. I was aware that this was needed for First Grade. We worked closely with his teachers and put a lot of work in at home. He completed his Kindergarten year with flying colors. He learnt how to read and write. His confidence skyrocketed and he walked into First Grade ready to take on the world. This school has such wonderful caring teachers which is so important for your child's development. The teachers at CHMS have been working here for many years some for as long as 15yrs. That is a great sign. I absolutely have so much love and gratitude for this school and will never forget our positive experience.

This is a Jewish private school. I went there for elementary school. The teachers are there are very good, especially the principal, Rabbi Gross.
