Bowne-Munro is an amazing school. I could not be happier! The curriculum is great, as well as all of the staff. Because of its small size the classrooms have a small student to teacher ratio. The teachers are able to give a lot of personal attention to students!

Posted by a parent on 3/8/2016Bowne is considered the jewel of East Brunswick! The teachers and staff care not only about the students, but the families! The children are confident leaners and feel safe and secure! They are well prepared for Middle School and beyond!

Unfortunately, the school often seems reactive rather than solution-based, and at times, communication lacks professionalism. Parents who raise questions or offer constructive feedback are too often met with silence or avoidance rather than open dialogue. I am also aware of at least one other parent who experienced a similar situation, where a meeting intended to “talk things out” became a one-sided exchange that left her feeling dismissed and blamed rather than heard. These patterns are concerning and do not reflect the values of collaboration, respect, and partnership that a school community should uphold.Parent Review7mo ago
