Posted by a parent on 7/13/2023The school is fine but I wouldn't recommend going there. Personally, I had a bad experience at the school and I hoped that I was going to another school the whole time. However there are some aspects that were enjoyable at time.The Pros: Most teachers really push you to succeedThe school cares for your safety even if they are not very effective at itThe technology at the school is very advanced.The Cons:The food is over priced, horrible, and it doesn't fill you up.The Board of Ed and school administrators doesn't listen to students' suggestions.Teachers are nice but there are couple who very biased and very liberal.The students aren't very friendly
Posted by a student on 3/11/2019The teachers at Tenakill genuinely care. They are also very responsive and will email you immediately if you have any questions or concerns. Most staff members also act as club and activity advisors. There's a spirit of volunteerism at Closter.I am glad that my children are students here and feel confident that the experience earned at Tenakill will prepare for them for high school and beyond... even if they don't get straight A's.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children who attended this school from kindergarten through 4th grade. It has been such an amazing school experience for both of them. Their experiences with all teachers in every grade have been overwhelmingly positive. You couldn't find a warmer learning environment. It's such a lovely community of families as well - diverse yet cohesive.
