It's a relatively small school in a great suburban town which gives a great experience to students, many of whom are able to walk to school and are known by name by school staff.
Posted by a parent on 7/3/2019Overall the school is strong academically, teachers and students are nice. There are not effective supports given to students with ADHD such as positive behavior plans. Also working with the Child Study Team to get effective supports in place is challenging without an Advocate or Special Ed Attorney

First of all they have introduction weeks for Kindergarden kids two weeks before school starts after summer break that was perfekt for our son when he didn't speek a word english. Now 1,5 year later he speaks english very w

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNobody moves to Old Tappan NJ because of the beaches. As almost all parents we invested a lot of money in a house because people told us the TBD was good. But the school has surprised us. They are not good as people told us. THEY ARE EXCELLENT. It is making worth every penny that we invested to be closed to this school. They really care of children. They understand children. I feel they even help us to raise our children. It is VERY organized. The principal is amazing. The teachers could not be better. My son who used to hate school, now he LOVES going to the school. Their academic program is very good. My son had challenges to adapt on the first days, they provided us ALL psychological support.
