Read what parents are saying about Resurrection Catholic School & PreschoolMy daughter started at RCS this school year and I wish that we had sent her here all along. She came from public school, so she has had a lot of catching up to do. It was a struggle at first, but she loves it now that she is up to speed. Everyone is so nice and she has made so many friends. The building and its grounds are much nicer than most nearby Catholic elementary schools and the school has so much to offer.
Posted by a parent on 1/23/2018After my children attended this school for several years, I realized that this school was not the place for us. First of all, this school is truly run by a select few parents. They control what and when it happens, and who gets what. The worst thing about this school is that many of the parents at this school attended catholic school for free in Philadelphia, and send their kids to this school because they feel that they are better than their neighbors. Many of them are at best middle class, and after a few years of financial trouble and seeing that their public school counterparts are doing better, they realize that sending their kids to this school was a mistake. If you live outside of Cherry Hill in a town with bad schools (Camden, etc) this is a good choice, but not worth it otherwise.
Posted by a parent on 9/23/2017This is our first year at RCS, with our two children, and we could not be happier with our experience in every way! Coming from Cherry Hill public school, the difference is night and day. The curriculum at RCS is extremely well rounded, and we feel there is a healthy balance of subject matter and support of different learning styles. It is amazing how much more of a positive experience our kids are having at school now that they are not constantly being prepped for NJ public school standardized testing ("teaching to the test").The added bonus of being at RCS is how there is such an awesome sense of family and community. Every interaction we've had with faculty, other parents, and students has affirmed that we made the right choice.
Posted by a parent on 1/5/2017Started my older child in Preschool at the age of 3. 7 years later and couldn't be happier with the School. My second child requires speech therapy and extra help and is doing great! Excellent education by caring Teachers, faith-based environment along with a loving welcoming community. Very blessed to be part of the RCS family.
Posted by a parent on 12/17/2016My daughter has had a great Kindergarten experience so far. Our interactions with the staff have been very positive, particularly with my daughter's teacher Mrs. Lucci, the advancement director Mrs. Smith, the secretary Mrs. Clayton and the principal Mrs. Webb. My 2 nephews and 1 niece have also had a great experience at RCS.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you love your child, do not send them to this 'school'.We sent our child here and had to take her out after half a year. There were multiple incidents of bullying and/or kids just misbehaving and the school not handling those situations properly. I had no false hope that every kid would act like an angel 100% of the time and believe I was realistic in hoping that if and when a child would not behave well, the teachers would know how to handle it- boy, was I wrong! My daughter was scratched, pushed, hit, had her leg stood on by a boy (to which the teacher just told the other kid not to do it bc my daughter didn't like it.... Because so many people would)The straw that broke the camels back was: my husband arrived to pick up my daughter and noticed a bump/bruise on her head. He asked the 3 teachers at the door what happened. They all said they didn't know. Our daughter told us that a boy (who had done other things to her in the past and sounded to be an overall behavioral issue), hit her in the head with a stick on the playground. I asked if a teacher saw. She said no. She said she told a teacher and that teacher put the kid in timeout. Ok, fine. BUT, she happened to be one of the teachers at the door that said she didn't know what happened to my daughter....In all the time my daughter went yo the school, we felt they operated in the dark. We never received an email about any incidents and when we brought it to her teachers attention, he said he would look into it and get back to me. Never did. After this last incident, they also said they were going to investigate and interview the teachers and get back to me with their findings. They never did.It became very obvious to me that this school was all about collecting $$, but not providing even the basic service of safety, not to mention an education.I am not an unreasonable individual, and if they had just communicated when things happened and told me how they remedied it, I would have been ok.Send your child elsewhere..... there are plenty of good schools out there. This is not one of them.Parent Review5mo ago - Politz Day School

We have upgraded programs, dedicated teachers and a wonderful Principal starting her 2nd year with our family. I would not send my children anywhere else.Parent Review4y ago - Goddard School of Cherry Hill
