Mount Olivet Seventh-Day Adventist

Nothing has changed in this school since I was a student here except for the fact that students are more out of control than ever before. The kindergarten teacher reminds my of the guy from the old visine commercials. No enthusiasm at all when it comes to interacting with the students or parents. The kids are being kept on whatever level the lowest level child in the class is on to prevent from having to do different things with the students.. These children are pretty much being held back. At this rate they will never be able to compete in the real world as adults. Not to mention the building has had no improvements since I was there in 1998. Its soo sad.

My daughter goes to this school and she has learned so much this year. Her teacher does a lot of extra family engagement and my child loves going to school. We love this school and they also have the best principal in Camden. It is inclusive, welcoming and I am so glad she is here.

My son is going to the 3rd grade this year and he started in the 2nd. I must say he has overcome a lot of obstacles due to his learning disability. To have went to other school starting from kindergarten, it was hard for him to understand and learn on the level the state thinks he should have been. It took for me and Sharp school to get him the help he so badly needed because the other schools weren't listening to what I had to say about how he needed help. I am forever grateful for the staff. I love love love his teacher Ms. Curcio formally know as Ms. Proudfoot. If not for Sharp he would still be falling so far behind and I love the school staff for all the hard work they put into the students, families and community.

My son went daughter and son went to sacred heart my daughter.I was truly unimpressed with the teacher and principle support. Its a small school with not much to offer technology wise and does not seem to have any thing other than sponsorship in mind(mostly there focus, not so much on the child).
