Lincoln No. 5 Elementary School

Nice school...teachers are really caring. Both of my kids love to go school everyday

I am so torn on this school, the teaching staff is great, but they keep leaving the school, being made to leave to other schools, or changing from grade to grade constantly. There is no stability for the kids and I'm sure the teachers do not feel great about it either. I grew up in bayonne and went to several schools here and never had issues at any of the schools I went to, but now, being a family member, hearing/seeing what the administration is doing to the teachers and, by extension, the students is really discouraging. They're going to lose all their good teachers if they don't fix this soon.

Bailey School has excellent teachers at every grade level who genuinely support their students' success, provided the students are willing to put in the effort. The school environment is nurturing, respectful, and encouraging. As a parent of a child who had to transfer from a private school due to bullying by teachers, I’ve seen a remarkable difference in my children’s academic and emotional growth since joining this school. Both the teachers and students are wonderful!While family engagement could be enhanced - there are a few opportunities for parent involvement, but I’d love to see more - this has allowed my children to become more independent and proactive in their learning. In the end, this has had a positive impact on them.Overall, I feel confident that my children are safe, valued, and continuously challenged to be their best selves at Bailey.

it is a good school from a student review just i dont like homework so but everything else is good

Most teachers aren’t respectful and are judgey, I don’t understand how some of them genuinely are so petty. They favor students heavily and the school its self is not clean and they don’t bother to pick up the phone when I call about a voicemail THEY left me telling to call them back about my child.

I used to be a student at this school my last year here was when covid came around. my last year was probably my worse year because we were online but the other years where good teachers were nice my friend's there were real friend's. and overall good experince bullying i like at a 1.
