This school no longer has foreign language or a religion teacher for middle school students. The class sizes are getting smaller because of lower enrollment which means 8th grade class is just one class now (22ish kids). Young newer good teachers often switch to public school due to better salaries
Posted by a parent on 8/10/2026I think the primary grades Pre-K-5 are great but question when kids get into middle school. For middle schoolers (6-8 grades) there is only talking at lunch, and one recess during the day. No talking in hallways, home room or when switching classes. They are not supposed to even talk at P.E or art.
Posted by a parent on 4/15/2025My child attended STCC for kindergarten and 1st grade. I recommend it with mild reservations. There are some truly incredible teachers and some that were average. Art and music programs were a delight. The school community is tight-knit, bordering on clique-ish. There's a lack of new family orientatio
Posted by a parent on 6/4/2017St. Cecilia's grade school in Omaha Ne can take credit for years of therapy and self loathing for me. As an adult I can see the fault was in the teachers, not the students. I once SAW a nun throw a boy down the steps while he was still in his desk. The principal once struck me so hard, I
Posted by a community member on 4/23/2016Top notch academics, caring staff, strong extra-curricular activities, and outstanding Catholic faith formation. We would not choose any other school in the area.

My daughter was bullied and sexually assaulted, but since we didn’t give tons of money to the school, nothing was done.Parent Review5mo ago - Franklin Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAbsolutely the best school in the city! We've even had to move and i kept my children at Franklin. Wouldn't send them anywhere else! The best principal and the best teachers I've seen! They genuinely care about the kids and walk the talk! And the kids feel that and love school! Can't ask for a better environment!Parent Review10y ago - Walnut Hill Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Walnut Hill Elementary threw pre-k-5 their teachers are so nice and help when needed but not on tests. There principal is super nice and there are nice kids I would recommend your kids could come to this school. There safety is super good and have great coaches for any sports either volleyball, girls and boys soccer, girls basketball, boys basketball. The teachers are so positive and try there best to teach you and help you feel comfortable to learn!Other Review2y ago - Jackson Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two daughters attend this school--both are very different in personality and aptitude. Duchesne has allowed both girls to flourish while challenging each to grow into young women who can think and express herself well. Very thankful for this school!Parent Review8y ago - Ops Virtual Elementary School
