Posted by a parent on 6/5/2015My son attended kindergarten at a different school in the district and continued it be in reading. He was still at a level A at the end of the year. We finally moved into Washington's grid for first grade. He was able to receive the specialized attention and let the first grade reading at a level J.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids at Edison , 4th and 1st grades, I have been pleased by the teachers ,they have been kind and professional, my kids are very polite and sensitive and they wouldn't be happy if the teacher is mean or strict. We had some issues with kids bullying and inappropriate behaviors but the teachers we so proactive , they took our concerns immediately and took care of it in a professional way. They have flourished and I am very impressed with the teachers and the education my children have been receiving. Perkett is top notch! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been going to Our Redeemer's Christian School for a large portion of my life, and after finding this website I figured I'd write a review.Good parts:The curriculum is advanced and better than the other schools in the area.Most of the teachers are nice and interactive with students, however there are some outliers to this.The side of the building that's shared with the church is well maintained.Bad parts:As you'd expect from a Christian school, the students, teachers, and administration are all anti-LGBTQ+ and are very vocal about their prejudice when the topic comes up.The school, according to my calculations, should be making ~2.7 million dollars per year off of student tuition alone.
