the bullying is extremely bad and teachers dont pay attention
Posted by a parent on 2/23/2021Longfellow school was great according to old reviews but not in 2017-2018. They don’t care anymore about children who are in hospital (at least about my child). They save paper and ink and rarely send printed info home, everything is digital.
Posted by a parent on 3/23/2018I love Longfellow . I love all of the staff and the new principal. They make you feel welcomed and don't judge you. They make you feel good about having your child safe at school and they help out any way they can.

My ( year 9 old was sick and the principle called and asked how she was after next day ! What a caring bunch of wonderful people ! The parents can feel the love for the children in teaching and in general >>>>

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids at Edison , 4th and 1st grades, I have been pleased by the teachers ,they have been kind and professional, my kids are very polite and sensitive and they wouldn't be happy if the teacher is mean or strict. We had some issues with kids bullying and inappropriate behaviors but the teachers we so proactive , they took our concerns immediately and took care of it in a professional way. My nephews was left out side with no adult present, they left my nephew under the table all day, and also never send my 6 year old nephew back home with his coats and he comes home with a new bruise every other day and they can not account for what happened. They get paid for nothing! If your black avoid this place at all cost. I wish I could leave no stars! They have flourished and I am very impressed with the teachers and the education my children have been receiving. Perkett is top notch!
