St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School

The leadership and teachers at St Catherine’s school are dedicated to bringing their students closer to Christ. The school provides a positive Catholic environment that encourages morality and love of the faith. The parents are heavily involved and supportive of the school and the school has grown over the past few years due to the amazing job the principal has done. She literally knows every student (270 and growing) by name and makes each of them feel special and important.As in any school there are a handful of parents that would rather not follow the guidelines/handbook and try to stir up issues when they disagree. However the principal calmly and fairly addresses each issue with patience, kindness, and the best interests of the students and families in mind.A fantastic Catholic education!

We have had the BEST experience here. I have twins on two different levels. My son is gifted and my daughter is an average student. Both needs are met here. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. My kids love going to school everyday. The academic program pleases my picky needs as a former teacher. I feel my kids are getting the best education possible in a small, warm setting.

There is a pervasive problem with bullying. The staff verbally threatened me on the phone "we can keep your children out as long as we want", when I called about several confusing emails sent out to parents related to Covid.

Great School, great size for a personalize education. Teachers are great and caring for the students. This school is like family, love the teachers. Great community!

St. Catherine's is an educational gem! The curriculum and educational environment is second to none. Club and sports opportunities provide an extension to this learning environment. Having come to St. Catherine's from the WCPS, we saw first hand the extreme gap in instruction, goals, and successes. Where WCPS was severely lacking in opportunities and a solid core/ base for our child's educational future, St. Catherine's has exceeded all expectations. The teachers and administrative staff are supportive, have clear expectations and provide the right level of academic challenge that will lead to success. Most importantly, our child is happy, rising to the challenges, learning more than ever, and is confident in choices and academics! Excellent experience. Excellent school
