Posted by a student on 1/14/2026They give slimy milk, and the food is burnt or moldy. They also hurt kids.
Posted by a community member on 8/14/2025I'm a student writing this review and to my experience I hated this encounter with different teaching lessons, they tried to be better, switching up everything but there's so many fights in a week, also with dispersion everyday with the same teachers. Most of the teachers don't care about a student'

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was briefly a kindergarten teacher at the school. I was very impressed with the overall behavior of the students. The kindergarten class I had was awesome. My parents held their child accountable for their actions. They gave no excuses and fixed the behavior. I was always supported by my parents. I wish all parents were as supportive as these parents.Other Review6mo ago - Smith Elementary

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBy far the worst school in Wake County. The principle Mrs.Smith is the WORST ! She’s disgustingly rude, and tries to play stupid after. She has no respect, concern, or anything for the families that leave their children in her care. The bullying in the school is atrocious and vicious, and nothing is ever done about it . If I could give them 0 stars, I would ! 100/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.Parent Review5mo ago - Vandora Springs Elementary

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not recommend this school at all. The teachers are unwilling to assist children. The communication is terrible though teachers have access to text and calls. Do you and your children a favor and go to a school that cares.Parent Review3mo ago - Walnut Creek Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOak City has been a second home for my children and an extension of our family for the past 7 years. Each teacher and staff member is incredible and committed to leading children to Jesus while the whole child grows and develops into who God has made them to be. Incredible education proven by well above grade level test results. This is a place where children thrive and love to learn!Parent Review2y ago
