Timber Drive Elementary

The level of communication between parents and faculty, the encouragement of parent involvement in the education, the security of the campus and the responsiveness of the staff to parental and student concerns have left me with a very positive experience with this school. My child has shown significant improvement in their academic awareness and their desire to keep learning.

I was briefly a kindergarten teacher at the school. I was very impressed with the overall behavior of the students. The kindergarten class I had was awesome. My parents held their child accountable for their actions. They gave no excuses and fixed the behavior. I was always supported by my parents. I wish all parents were as supportive as these parents.

Love how patient the teachers are with the kids and actually pay attention too the kids needs my 6yr old loves this school and her teachers

We’ve experienced excellent communication and care from my son’s kindergarten teacher. She has taken the time to really see him, learn him. He started the school year late, and his teacher had prepared the class before his start date to think through how to make a new friend feel welcomed and included so that on his first day he received a very warm and friendly embrace! We were so thankful for this thoughtful preparation. we’ve watched our son gain more academic confidence and he remains quite academically motivated and curious. Very impressed with our experience at Rand Rd Elementary.

Oak City has been a second home for my children and an extension of our family for the past 7 years. Each teacher and staff member is incredible and committed to leading children to Jesus while the whole child grows and develops into who God has made them to be. Incredible education proven by well above grade level test results. This is a place where children thrive and love to learn!
